You never knew what smell would greet you at Grandma's back door. She was a master cook and the cookie jar was seldom empty. Her family gathered from all corners of the United States, always at Gram's Kitchen table. My Grandma taught her daughters and my sisters and me have all been taught by these wonderful cooks; that the kitchen is the heart of the home and cooking was not just to fill a gap in an empty stomach but to create traditions, spread love, and enrich memories. Although Grandma is no longer with us we still gather around Grandma's kitchen table creating and recreating these delicious and delectable dishes!
